Want to uncover the real reason behind your procrastination? Ask yourself ‘why?’ at least three times.

Why am I putting this task off? Because I’m afraid I’ll get it wrong.

Why? Because I don’t have a clear idea of the brief.

Why? Because I’m scared to ask my manager for more details.

Now you know what you need to do!

What are we talking about?

Most human conversations can be divided into three types: 
  • practical (what are we trying to do here?)
  • emotional (how are we feeling?)
  • social (getting closer together) 

To communicate more effectively, identify what kind of conversation you’re having early on.
