Beyoncé does it - hers is called Sasha Fierce. Marilyn Monroe did it, too.
Creating an alter ego can help us bring out the traits we want to have but feel like we don’t deserve them.
Ask yourself: who is my alter ego? Are they a marketing genius or a fantastic public speaker?

Make an identity pact
We tend to stick to who we think we are.
Changing behaviour is often about making a pact with yourself about who you’re going to become.
Instead of saying “I will run every morning”, start saying “I am a runner”.

When she was the COO of Meta, Sheryl Sandberg would start every meeting by reminding everyone of the company’s mission.
This helped everyone get aligned before getting to the problem.
